Twitter has just announced their third round of funding. New investors include Bijan Sabet with Spark Capital and Jeff Bezos of Bezos Expeditions. Existing partners Union Square Ventures and Digital Garage exercised their pro rata rights to participate in this round as well.

Twitter plans to eventually become a sustainable business supported by a revenue model. They feel private funding is the roadway to reaching this objective.
